Artist Statement

The Artist

My imagery comes from real life experiences, animals, places, tales and memories. I’m inspired by the many mediums which let me create a variety of scenes, from landscapes to flowing shapes. Using and combining acrylic, oil, charcoal, encaustic and printmaking – each evoke a different aspect of the subject for me.

My art allows me to have fun, sometimes to tell a story with all the details, and sometimes to be abstract and play with visual memory.
